TOPIC: Kinect and SPIDF issue

Kinect and SPIDF issue 11 years 5 months ago #828

I am able to control my Media Browser (using chef scripts) using the Kinect. I am able to navigate and have the software recognize my commands. When I play a movie/live TV, my Kinect stop responding to commands. I have to stop the playing media or TV Channel to get it to respond again.
When a movie/live TV is playing, I went to the Amulet Kinect setting and I see that the Kinect and switching from ready to listening very fast. The is only happening using the SPIDF out for sound. when I output the sound using HDMI, all is well.

Any ideas?

This is rather interesting; I haven't come across it before.

Can you turn on debugging in Amulet.Settings, and see whether DebugView shows up any diagnostics of interest?

Could this have to do with something called AEC? I only bring it up because something was posted on msdn.
