I have notice that Amulet calls the TV show Hawaii Five O, Hawaii Five Zero. I don't know if it will make a difference at some point, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

I've noticed this too, at least with channel numbers. "Play channel number five oh four", "Play channel number five zero four" and even "Play channel number five hundred four" all seem to work equally well. Interestingly, the voice response is always "Playing channel number five hundred four" in all three cases.

It's a Brit device, so it speaks better English than we Yanks. Fortunately it has no problem understanding us.

OK, couple of points I'll throw into the mix.

The original "Hawaii Five O" is "oh". But the new one is officially titled "Hawaii Five 0", "zero". So the Amulet is getting the new one correct. Try load up a repeat of the original and see what happens.

(It's all the more complicated as the "5 oh" is to indicated the 50th state, so in principal the original should have been 5-zero, but people wouldn't say that.)

As for "504", yes the computer will always tend to see it as a full number, "five hundred four". But fortunately the recognition engine is flexible with people speaking numbers in different ways.

I don't think so.

I believe the O is the letter O in the new series. When the show is announced, the title uses the letter O. Further, the saying is 5-O is coming, not 5-zero.
