Trouble Shooting hints and tips for Amulet Voice Remote users

Troubleshooting

Move the remote close to the USB dongle. Check that a solid or flashing blue LED can be seen on the dongle. If not, plug the dongle into a different USB port. If the dongle light remains flashing blue when the remote's logo is flashing red, try recharging your remote. If the problem persists, check out the PAIRING section of the User Guide.

If you have not already done so, watch the Amulet Introduction video, via the Amulet menu strip on the Media Center Start menu, for a brief overview on how you can use your Voice Remote.

Troubleshooting

Make sure your volume is turned up, and that you can hear other Media Center sounds as you navigate around the menus.

During the night, between 2 am and 6 am, Amulet will only speak when spoken to. If you start Media Center during this time, you won't hear the welcome message, but Amulet will still respond to your commands as usual. See the Amulet Settings section for more information.
