As is often the case, time constraints prevented Pat from showing all of Amulet's advanced features – including the 7-inch touch-screen interface, its ability to record multiple TV channels simultaneously, and even its talent for instantly identifying any song currently playing. Regardless, it was clear that Pat was a convert to the Amulet system for managing music and video. In fact, in a pre-show interview on RTE's Morning Ireland radio program earlier in the day, he commented that this was the "toy for a big boy ... or girl" that he would most like to own himself. Summarising at the end of his demonstration, Pat predicted that Amulet would "take the world by storm" -- and if early customer demand is any indication, he may well be right.
